On 23rd February, Boss Entertainment organized a ball drop in the Mumbai Magic Bus community, on behalf of Watford FC. It was a surprise for 600 underprivileged children to each receive a new football.
It. . . was. . . beautiful.
“We’re really happy that we could give back to the Indian community after such amazing support this season. A ball can change a child’s life and that was the whole thought behind the ball drop with Magic Bus.”
— Spencer Field, Global Strategy & Partnership Director, Watford FC
“You can go to the poorest village in the country with a football, and if you throw it in the air, every child will gravitate towards it. It gets you a captive audience who are engaged, in a place they want to be in.”
— Matthew Spacie, Founder of Magic Bus
“84 million children do not go to school in India. That’s appalling. Connecting Watford and Magic Bus for this ball drop was another small step in trying to alleviate that wrong.”
— Shailendra Singh, Jt MD of BOSS Entertainment
